Things To Do

Restaurants & Bars

Quarterdeck at Dania Beach

Head here for an amazing ocean view. And good food! Good spot for a romantic sunset dinner or for a family dine-out.
Make sure you ask to seat outside if the weather allows for breathtaking view of the Dania Beach and Atlantic Ocean. Make sure to walk on the pier and spot some stingrays below.
Dania Beach is also a great beach spot.
You can also arrive to Dania Beach by boat and dock at recently built city marina while you can enjoy the beach and the restaurant.

Tommy Bahama Restaurant

Florida beach vibes are strong with this bar restaurant. Live music and happy hour cocktails are amazing. Make sure to try Ahi Tuna tacos appetizer.

Yard House at Gulfstream Park

Head here to see horses racing live, and for some great food and an extensive beer selection. If you seat outside during the races, you will see jockeys bringing the horses outside for a show, before each race.

Hollywood Downtown

Hollywood downtown offers several great options for lunch and dinner. I recommend The Greek Joint for dinner and Chocolada for dessert.

Tarks of Dania Beach

For cheap wings, oysters, conch salad and old bay shrimp head to Tarks. Not fancy by any means and not too kid friendly. Just an old school South Florida spot. You can also order take away.

Jaxson Ice Cream

Hollywood's most famous ice cream spot. Opened since 1956.

First Watch

For amazing and healthy breakfast (Hollywood, CALIFORNIA style) head to First Watch. The closest is at newly opened Dania Pointe plaza. Has outdoor seating area as well. Great service and amazing breakfast foods. Works every day till about 2pm.

Shopping

Dania Pointe Plaza

New shopping and entertainment plaza. Some cool places to check out: Tommy Bahamas restaurant and bar, Brazilian Rodizio Grill Steakhouse, Saito Japanese Grill, BurgerFi for burgers; Dickies BBQ and others.

Various outlet and branded stores also call Dania Pointe home, make sure to check them out as well.
Newest Regal movie theater will impress you, could be a good idea on a rainy day!

Oakwood Plaza

Right next to Dania Pointe Plaza is located another (older) Oakwood Plaza. Here we have Ross, Marshalls, Old Navy, Michaels, Burlington, Office Depot and BJs wholesale club.

Aventura Mall

If you feel like shopping, I suggest driving to Aventura Mall. Its newly renovated and pretty cool spot to hang out on a rainy day when beach is not an option. If you set your GPS to Apple Store at Aventura Mall, you will arrive to the newly renovated area of the mall with cool foodcourt and other indoor and outdoor restaurants for everyone's taste. Check out Pani and their cutest interior decor.

Sawgrass Mall

If you are into even more serious bargain shopping and discounts, head to Sawgrass Mills Mall. The place is insanely huge and have lots of brand names outlets. Make sure you look at their website to select where you will arrive (and therefore park) to plan out your visit.
